A few Parables in Matthew

Parables were to show that Jesus, even our God, is familiar and acquainted with the everyday life of his creation. This reveals that He is not a distant God- for He understood the political scene, the financial scene, agricultural scene, occupational scene of everyday life. He told parables about men, women, children, different social-economic classes showing in His stories, all are important.

He taught to show and reveal a message about the kingdom, to reveal a simple message of salvation in a clear and simple way. You only missed the message if you missed who was telling the message.

Also, the parables were to be understood by the initiate or his disciples. Is there a problem with this? Jesus came to tell everyone about His grace and offer of salvation, so why did He appear to hide this simple message in His parables from others?
