The 2020 year started with such great promise. It brought great expectations that we were entering into a new year of double favor for a 2020 season. Many were encouraged to embrace this new season with a 2020 vision, for we are going into a new season where we will finally walk in and receive all God has for us. This 2020 year started with such great promise and expectations of better, more, and greater. 2020 will be known for greater, greater loss, greater uncertainty, and greater unfamiliarity in the season of coronavirus. For many of us, this pandemic season reminds us of how many times we were expecting much and to do much for God that we did not do or get what we expected. We expected to bear more fruit and yet came away discouraged that this is another delay and denial in life. Seasons of pandemics, Coronavirus, and delays are pruning seasons that can teach us valuable lessons. And how we approach these seasons will define and reveal we will be fruitful in a famine and dry season. Will we press on and hold on to God's promises and walk in the purpose God ordained for our lives despite living in a season of delayed expectations.
